Missing Ipswich boy found safe and well

UPDATE @ 11.45 AM | AN eight-year-old boy who disappeared after going on a bike ride in Riverview on Sunday has been found.

Queensland Police confirmed the youngster was located safe and well on Monday.

EARLIER @ 9.00 AM | Queensland Police are desperately appealing for help to find an eight-year-old boy who disappeared after going on a bike ride in Riverview yesterday.

The youngster was last seen riding a purple BMX bicycle on Old Ipswich Road around midday on Sunday.

“Police and family hold concerns for his wellbeing as it is out of character for him not to return home,” police said in a statement.

The boy is described as being Caucasian with an olive complexion, sandy hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, dark blue shorts with no footwear.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
