Motorcyclist found with critical head injuries on Gold Coast street

A MOTORCYCLIST is in a critical condition after a horror crash on the Gold Coast overnight.

The 41-year-old man was found lying on the side of Avon Court in Pacific Pines around 10.10pm.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics for critical head injuries before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, however initial investigations suggest the motorcycle may have come into contact with a tree.

They’re appealing for anyone who may have been in the area or has dash-cam vision to come forward.
