A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with a van in Park Ridge early this morning.
The accident happened at the intersection of Chambers Flat Road and School Road around 5.15am.
The motorcycle rider, a 42-year-old Parkinson man, was treated at the scene by paramedics for a significant head injury.

He has since been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed the high acuity response unit was called to treat the man before transporting him to hospital.
The driver of the van, a 40-year-old Logan Reserve man, managed to escape uninjured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
