Motorist injured, traffic crawling after two-car crash on M1

MOTORISTS are being warned to expect lengthy delays on the Pacific Motorway this morning following a two car crash.

The accident happened southbound at Coomera just before 7.45am.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, with two people assessed by paramedics.

One person has since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with chest pain.

Traffic is at a complete standstill in the area, with motorists being urged to delay travel and make the most of service roads.
