Multi-vehicle crash halts traffic on Gold Coast’s M1

UPDATE @ 11.50 AM: SIX people have been assessed by paramedics following a multi-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway.

The accident, believed to involve a number of cars and a truck, happened northbound on the M1 at Mudgeera around 11.15am.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said three people are likely to be transported to hospital shortly.


They’re understood to all be in stable conditions.

Lengthy delays are being experienced in the area with motorists urged to allow for extra travel time.

The accident, believed to involve a number of cars and a truck, happened at Robina around 11.15am.

It’s not yet known how many people, if any, have been injured.

Traffic is at a standstill back to Reedy Creek, while delays are also quickly building southbound.
