Mumprenuer’s nominated for national award
GOLD Coast mums are being recognised for their outstanding success in areas around business and product development.
It’s the fifth year the national AusMumpreneur Awards have been held, recognising mums in business from Australia and New Zealand.
Considered trendy and a hot topic of discussion, the Gold Coast’s very own ‘Mumpreneurs’ Carlene Hunt and Robin Smith have been nominated for two awards after making a big splash in the business world as their store The Handcrafted Shop goes international.

The Handcrafted Shop is a one of a kind business, comprised of an entire community of crafters and designers across Australia and New Zealand.
Established last year, they offer a range of one of a kind clothing, jewellery, accessories, home wares, beautiful children’s toys and vintage goods.
One year after its creation, The Handcrafted Shop is an internationally recognised brand, with buyers across Canada and parts of Europe and sellers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
They’ve been nominated in two categories, the Judged Category for Emerging AusMumpreneur and People’s choice category for Handmade Award.
Public voting closes for the 2014 AusMumpreneur Awards closes on October 6 and winners will be announced at the glamorous dinner in Melbourne in late October.
