Everyone who has already lodged submissions have been invited to participate in the hearing which will be held from 11am at the Crown Plaza Hotel at Surfers Paradise.
Members of the public are also being encouraged to head long.
The next session will take place in Brisbane on November 21 and an inquiry report is expected by March.
Clive Palmer and his party won support for the Senate inquiry back in September, to look into the conduct of the Newman government.
Both Labor and the Greens backed the proposal.
