Gold Coasters have rallied behind the relocation of NightQuarter, with the owners of the much-loved food and music precinct being inundated with new venue suggestions.
The popular food and music venue has been forced to close its Helensvale site, due to rent prices which more than doubled to around $400,000 per year.
State Government Officials are reportedly helping the husband and wife duo look at different options for the site, with locations near Carrara Stadium, the Smith Collective and the Country Parklands being considered as potential spots.

Michelle Christoe, one of the owners, told 1029 Hot Tomato’s Flan, Emily Jade and Christo this morning that they’ve been receiving location options from patrons as well as businesses.
“We are in discussions with a number of other sites, and since we announced [the closure], we’ve been flooded with phone calls of people offering their land and other venues offering to talk to us.
“The response from the community has been massive and we’re really humbled by it,” Ms Christoe said.
Despite the heartwarming response from the Gold Coast community, Ms Christoe says it will take time and money to relocate.
“NightQuarter cost us several million [dollars] to build in the first place, moving NightQuarter will cost us half a million to a million anyways.
“It’ll be quite a few months before we can get something up and operational again.
“At the end of the day, we have to find a site that’s viable for us as a business,” Ms Christoe said.
