NINE people have died after a private jet they were travelling in crashed in the Bahamas.
The Lear 36 Executive Jet is believed to have crashed while attempting to land at Grand Bahama International Airport around 5pm on Sunday.
There are reports a prominant minister was on the aircraft at the time, but this has yet to be confirmed.

It is not yet known what caused the crash.
Police and rescue teams are on the scene, and a full investigation is set to begin at daylight.
