INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into a four-car crash which left one person dead and another critically injured on the NSW Central Coast.
Police said a Holden Astra, a Volkswagen Polo, an Audi 44 and a Holden Commodore all came to grief at the intersection of Motorway Link Road and Blue Haven Way at Blue Haven around 2.20pm on Tuesday.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 20-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, a 34-year-old woman, was rushed to the John Hunter Hospital where she remains today in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the Astra, a 78-year-old man, and the driver of the Audi, a 47-year-old woman were also taken to John Hunter Hospital. The woman has since been released.
The driver of the Commodore, a 25-year-old man, escaped uninjured. He was taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and are urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.
