One dead after truck flips on rural road

A MAN has died after the small truck he was driving crashed and rolled in outback Queensland overnight.

Police said the man lost control of the vehicle while travelling through Norrindo, south of Roma.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Surat Development Road, 450km west of Brisbane, just after midnight.

Sadly, the 31-year-old driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was the only person travelling in the truck at the time.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
