One killed in SA light plane crash: report

A LIGHT plane has crashed in a paddock near a rural South Australian airport, killing the pilot.

It’s understood the small single-seat plane came down near Goolwa Airport, around one hours drive south of Adelaide.

There’s reports the aircraft was taking part in aerobatics practice at the time is crashed.

Emergency services are on the scene.

At the start of each year, the airport hosts the Goolwa Classic Air Show – the biggest non-military air show in South Australia.
