GOLD COASTERS are getting behind a push to cut public transport fees.
Queenslanders have one week left to decide how to spend $30 million of carbon tax savings, with a choice of increased transport services or reduced fares.
16,000 people have already lodged a vote online, with 75 per cent choosing a 5 per cent fare cut ahead of extra services.
