Pair charged after drugs found in car on the Gold Coast

A man and woman have been charged after police allegedly uncovered a stash of illegal drugs, including Fantasy, after pulling over a car at Labrador.

Officers intercepted the vehicle on Brisbane Road around 1.15am on Sunday.

During a search of the two occupants, police allegedly uncovered a quantity of GBH and methamphetamines.

A 33-year-old Paradise Point woman was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils.

She is due to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday October 31.

A 32-year-old Labrador man was also charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of possessing a thing used in connection with a drug offence, possessing utensils and unlicensed driving.

He will face Southport Magistrates Court on Wednesday October 17.
