Panthers back on top after trouncing Titans at Cbus

The Penrith Panthers have been able to regain top spot on the NRL ladder, after defeating a dissolving Titans side yesterday.

Fresh off the news that young gun David Fifita would be joining the Gold Coast side for three years next season, the Titans put up a good fight.

They were holding on 16-14 at half time, before a further two tries from the Panthers sealed the deal for them.

They defeated the Gold Coast 22-14, in front of over 5,000 people at Cbus Stadium.

It comes with news some of the Titans players could be leaving the side as early as this week, sparking fears of a ‘revolving door’.

Newscorp reports Ryan James has agreed to a deal with the Raiders, while Bryce Cartwright wants a release to return to Sydney.

Cartwright was missing from yesterday’s loss, with reports he’s already back in Sydney due to personal reasons.

Shannon Boy’s departure is also expected to be confirmed this week.
