Two paramedics been injured after their ambulance rolled following a crash in Burleigh Waters.

The ambulance ended up on its side, trapping the two paramedics inside.

Fire fighters were forced to cut through the windscreen to free the pair.

They have since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions with minor injuries.

A QAS spokesperson say the driver of the other vehicle declined treatment.

I hope the Para’s were okay. That 4wd must have been going pretty fast to knock over an ambulance – those things weigh a tonne.

Firstly it wasnt a 4wd that hit the ambos it was a holden or ford ute.
The traffic lights were green and the ambulance just turned right in front of the 4wd and the ute.
I know because i was driving the 4wd.
The back of the ute just grazed my bull bar as it spun around.
