Paramedics kept busy with multiple crashes

THREE people needed to be taken to hospital following two seperate traffic incidents on the Gold Coast last night.

The first happened at Biggers Waters after a vehicle crashed into a wall on Pine Road Road about 7.59pm.

Paramedics said a female patient was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Then, about 11.40pm, crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle rollover on Ferry Road in Southport.

Two people were treated at the scene before they too were transported to the Uni Hospital in stable conditions.

A fourth person, a woman aged in her 80s, was also injured in a single vehicle crash west of the Coast.

Paramedics said they were called to Beaudesert-Beeleigh Road at Tamborine about 7.58pm.

The woman was taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition with “shoulder and knee pain”.
