Plane crashes at southeast Queensland airport

A SMALL plane has reportedly crashed on an airport runway in Southeast Queensland this afternoon.

Early reports suggest the single-engine plane crashed at Sunshine Coast Airport, Marchoola after 4.30pm EST. 

It’s understood the pilot was the only person on board at the time of the accident. Nine News journalist Joel Dry reports a woman in her 30s has been taken to Nambour hospital – her condition unknown.
