P!NK’s postponed concerts have been rescheduled – here are the new dates!

P!NK has been forced to postpone yet another show in Sydney after coming down with a gastric virus, but says she’ll to be back on stage, performing for fans this weekend.

The superstar was released from St Vincent’s Hospital late on Tuesday after being admitted on Monday.

Following doctor’s orders, P!nk’s Thursday night concert in Sydney has been postponed to allow her time to rest, recuperate and spend time with her children.

In a statement on Wednesday, concert promoter Live Nation confirmed P!nk will return to the stage in Sydney this weekend, with scheduled performances at Qudos Bank Arena on August 11 and 12.

Live Nation also revealed that P!nk would be returning to Australia in September after touring New Zealand to perform a set of rescheduled shows for upset fans.

The performer’s August 3 concert has been moved to August 24, while shows originally slated for August 6, 7 and 9 will now go ahead on September 17, 18 and 19.

In order to facilitate the new dates, promoters have also been forced to also reschedule Brisbane’s August 23 show and bring it forward a day early to August 22.

“P!nk and Live Nation apologise for any inconvenience to ticket holders due to the need to the change of tour dates but hope that patrons understand that this has been due to a serious illness,” Live Nation said.

“An immense amount of effort has gone into providing the opportunity for all current ticket holders to be accommodated on rescheduled dates.”

Current tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates and do not need to be exchanged.

“Patrons who are unable to attend on their nominated rescheduled Sydney or Brisbane show date may exchange their tickets for an earlier date in that city whilst availability permits,” Live Nation said.

“For General Admission ticket holders in Sydney wishing to attend on an alternate concert date, there is best availability to exchange their tickets for the August 25 and 26 shows.

“Alternatively, patrons holding tickets for the postponed dates who are unable to attend on any other date may obtain a refund by submitting a request via Ticketek.”

The announcement came an hour after P!nk posted the following statement on Instagram, revealing how she’d been “rushed to hospital in excruciating pain” just 20 minutes before Monday’s show.

“My sincere apologies to any of the ticket holders that this has affected,” she said.

“On Monday, we were absolutely planning on going ahead with the show, and about 20 minutes before I left for soundcheck, I was rushed to the hospital, in excruciating pain.

“That was the reason for the late cancellation. It was out of anyone’s control, and of course, wasn’t planned that way.

“I was discharged from hospital last night, and am following doctors orders of liquids and rest.”

The What About Us? singer said she owed it to her fans to be in top shape for her action-packed shows.

“A lot of you know how physical my shows are, and that I don’t just stand in front a microphone and sing,” she said.

“I flip, dance, fly, harness, silk, and scream my way through a total shit show of awesomeness (no pun intended). Therefore, I need to be physically healthy and well in order to perform this show. I think all of you deserve the full show and me at my best.”

P!nk said she looks forward to returning to the stage and “rocking out” with her fans on Saturday.

Our next show will be Saturday, and until then I will be drinking green tea, and spending time with my kids.

“That’s a warning to paparazzi, you might actually see me walking upright outside of my hotel room cage with two little children, and another warning: I might even smile. Not too much, though. I’ll try to control the smiling.

“Thank you for your patience, compassion, and support. I look forward to rocking out with all of you as we have done for many many years. All of my love.”
