Police find drugs, $20k in Gold Coast raid

A MAN will appear in court next month, charged with supplying dangerous drugs after police allegedly found several kilos of cannabis and $20,000 cash at his house on the northern Gold Coast.

Officers raided the 23-year-old man’s Rosemount Drive home at Willow Vale about 9.15am on Tuesday.

During the search, police allegedly found five kilograms of cannabis, a cannabis plant, cannabis seeds, 73 restricted prescription tablets, around $20,000 in cash, pipes and a grinder.

The 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with a long list of offences, including possessing and supplying dangerous drugs and possessing suspected proceeds of an offence.

He is scheduled to front Southport Magistrates Court on November 12.
