Police hunting man accused of punching polling booth worker in Logan

Police are appealing for help to identify a man who allegedly assaulted a worker at a polling booth in Logan last weekend.

It’s understood the man left the polling booth on Eastern Road in Browns Plains on Saturday, before returning just before 3.00pm.

Qld Police say that when the man returned, he allegedly punched a 68-year-old male staff member before destroying property around the site.

Thankfully the worker managed to escape uninjured.

Anyone who can identify the man in the above photo is being urged to come forward.
