Police hunting two men over violent assault at Coolangatta resort

Gold Coast police are appealing for help to identify two men after another man was punched to the ground at Coolangatta last month.

Police say the violent attack happened near a pool at a resort on Marine Parade around 7.15pm on October 7.

It’s alleged the victim, aged 23, and two other men became involved in a disturbance when he was punched to the ground and assaulted.

The man sustained a fractured jaw and was rushed to hospital for medical treatment.

Police have since released images and CCTV of the two men they wish to speak to in relation to the assault.

“Investigations to date reveal the men could have links to New South Wales,” police said in a statement.
