UPDATE @ 3.00pm Friday 27th March | Police have arrested three people over a series of ram raids and break-ins across the Gold Coast this week.
A bottle shop at Currumbin Waters was targeted late on Wednesday night with a car reversed through the glass doors of the shop before bottles of alcohol were stolen.
A short time later another bottle shop at Worongary was hit while a chemist at Arundel was broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A stolen Holden Captiva believed to have been used in the robberies was found burnt out at Burleigh Waters.
Police have now arrested three males aged 16, 17 and 18 after raids on homes at Burleigh Heads and Mermaid Beach.
Detectives say charges are expected and are also looking at whether the group is responsible for a break-in at Miami on Thursday night where a car was stolen, as well as several attempted break-ins in Surfers Paradise.
EARLIER @ 1.50PM Thursday 26, March | Police are searching for at least three men after a series of ram raids and break-ins across the Gold Coast overnight.
A bottle shop on Ware Drive at Currumbin Waters was targeted around 11.50pm last night, with a stolen car reversed into the glass doors of the store.
The men stole several bottles of alcohol before jumping in the car and driving off.
Half an hour later, a car was used to smash through the glass doors of a bottle shop on Mudgeeraba Rd and Worongary where more bottles of alcohol were stolen.
Around 1.40am, a chemist in Marble Arch Place at Arundel was broken into with the glass doors smashed again.
Police are also looking into the theft of several mobile phones from an electrical store on Upton St at Bundall sometime between 5.50pm on Wednesday and 8am on Thursday.
A stolen grey Holden Captiva believed to have been used in the break-ins was found burnt out in Babbler Court at Burleigh Waters early this morning.
Detectives are looking into whether all the offences are linked.
