POLICE are looking into reports of a semi trailer spotted with a bizarre load on the Pacific Motorway this afternoon.

Jay Jamieson was driving on the M1 towards the Gold Coast when she saw the truck transporting three vehicles which were piled up illegally on its trailer about 3.30pm.

Shocked at the unusual and dangerous sight, she snapped a photo and uploaded it to Twitter, tagging Queensland Police.

“M1 right now a semi heading toward Gold Coast. Surely this can’t be a legal load @QPSmedia #illegalload,” she said.

Police responded and advised Jay to contact them with further information, “Please contact Policelink on 131 444 so that further details can be obtained.”
