A man has been charged with a string of offences after he was allegedly busted walking along a Gold Coast street with a gun, knife and drugs.
The 38-year-old man was stopped by officers after they noticed him leaving an apartment complex on Frank Street in Labrador with another man around 12.30am on Thursday morning.
While speaking with the man, police allegedly found a shortened firearm, ammunition and a flick knife, along with a stash of methylamphetamine, prescription medication, cannabis and drug utensils.

He was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of unlawful possession of weapons, and one count each of authority required to possess explosives, possess shortened firearms and possess property suspected of having been used in the connection with a drug offence.
He’s due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
The other man, aged 35, was charged with one count of possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with a drug offence and is due in the Southport Magistrates Court on July 27.
