A POLICE officer has been charged with sexual assault and served with an AVO following an incident at a home in Sydney’s inner-west last year.
The charge relates to an incident that allegedly occurred at a private residence in September last year. The officer was off-duty at the time.
The matter was referred to the NSW Police Force Professional Standards Command in November and, following investigations, the inspector was arrested and charged on Thursday.
