Police probe source of ‘bomb threat’ at Gold Coast school

POLICE are investigating the source of a bomb threat, made at a Gold Coast school this morning.

Emergency services were called to Helensvale State School after a threat was made just before 10.30am.

Police attended and conducted a search of the building but believe the call was a hoax.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers were investigating the source of the call.

Emergency services are no longer on the scene and classes have since returned to normal at the school.
