Police searching for missing elderly Logan man, believed to be walking to Tamworth

POLICE are asking for help to find a 76-year-old man missing from Logan.

Arnold Newcombe was last seen near the QE2 hospital in Coopers Plains at 8am on Thursday and is believed to be heading to Tamworth via Warwick on foot.

Police hold concerns for Arnold’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall. He was wearing brown checked shirt, black pants and black shoes and a black cap. He was carrying a blue-green carry bag.

Anyone with any information in relation to his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
