Police seek help to find missing 11-year-old boy on the Gold Coast

POLICE are seeking urgent help to find an 11-year-old boy, reported missing from Labrador.

The child, pictured, was last seen near Town Centre Drive at Helensvale about 6pm on Wednesday.

Gold Coast Police issued a missing persons alert for the child just before midday on Thursday, saying they and the boy’s family shared concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

The child is described as being Caucasian and 140cm tall with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey Everlast hoodie, blue and black shorts, black Nike sneakers and a black and yellow baseball cap.

Anyone who knows where the boy is, or believes they may have seen him is urged to come forward and call their local police station, Policelink on 131 444, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
