Police seek witnesses to serious motorway crash

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that left two people seriously injured in Eastern Creek, NSW on Thursday.

The accident happened on the M4 Motorway near Wallgrove Road when the driver of an eastbound gold-coloured Toyota Camry lost control and crashed into a white Ford utility parked on the side of the road at around 5.30pm.

The 23-year-old driver of the Toyota escaped uninjured, however his 17-year-old passenger suffered head and leg injuries.

A 25-year-old man that was seated in the parked car also suffered a number of injuries.

The injured pair was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment of serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Officers attached to the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit assessed the scene and continue to make inquiries.

They would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the events leading up to the incident.
