POLICE have seized $115,000 in cash, a large amount of steroids and several mobile telephones after a raid in Helensvale on Thursday.
Investigators from the Criminal Economy Unit, part of Taskforce Maxima, executed the search warrant at a suburban residence, believed to be connected to Criminal Motorcycle Gangs.
A 37-year-old male is currently assisting officers with their investigations.

Detective Inspector Phil Stevens, Taskforce Maxima said that the CEU has been working closely with Federal and State authorities to collate, analyse and financially profile Criminal Motorcycle Gangs, their participants and associates.
“The CEU works with its partner agencies to identify and remove wealth that has been realised through illegal activities of CMGs,” Detective Inspector Stevens.
“Officers attended the Helensvale address yesterday morning in connection with an ongoing investigation, where the occupant declared the cash to investigators.
“Police have seized the money and other items and investigations are continuing,” he said.
