Popular kids musical toy recalled from Target over choking fears

A popular children’s musical toy guitar has been recalled from Target stores around the country over fears it may pose a choking hazard.

The Young Ones Lights and Sounds Guitar has been pulled from sale because a push button on the product (highlighted in below photo) may become detached with applied force.

“If the part becomes detached it may pose a choking hazard to small children,” the recall notice posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website reads.

Parents are being urged to remove the toy from their children immediately and to return it to a Target or Target Country store as soon as possible for a full refund. A receipt is not required to obtain a full refund.
