Popular kids railway set recalled from ALDI over choking fears

The Jack ‘n’ Jill Wooden Jungle Railway Set has been recalled from ALDI over fears it may pose a potential choking or suffocation hazard to young children.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission alerted customers to the recall in a notice on their website.

“The Train set is not compliant with the mandatory toy safety standard for children up to and including 36 months of age,” the notice reads.

“Small parts may be liberated from the product.”

The ACCC said small parts may cause choking, suffocation, or even death in young children.

People are being urged to stop using the product immediately and to remove it out of reach of children.

Customers can return the product to any ALDI store for a full refund.
