Prang triggers extensive delays on Smith Street

PARAMEDICS are assessing multiple patients at the scene of a crash on the M1 at Gaven.

The accident happened where the Smith Street Motorway connects with the M1 about 3.30pm.

It’s understood a number of vehicles came to grief on the northbound on-ramp.


Queensland Ambulance said paramedics were on the scene, assessing “multiple patients”.

The prang is causing extensive delays in the area, with traffic trying to get onto the M1 via smith Street backed up for more than four kilometres at the time of writing.
