Pregnant woman repeatedly stabbed in stomach, 14yo boy arrested

A PREGNANT woman has been brutally stabbed in the stomach and chest after disturbing an intruder in her home.

The woman, aged in her 30s, was attacked just before 9.00pm on Thursday at her house on Gloria Close in Mt Colah.

Police said the woman disturbed an intruder during a break and enter and was repeatedly stabbed.


The attacker fled the scene and the woman sought help from neighbours.

She was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition, however she’s understood to now be stable.

The condition of her unborn child is currently unknown.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested at a home on a nearby street after the attack and taken to Hornsby Hospital for treatment to hand wounds.

He is currently awaiting surgery under police guard.

Police investigations continue.
