Prince William and Kate have arrived in New York City ahead of a three-day US adventure.

It is reported the royal couple will be staying at the Carlyle hotel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, which was rumored to be one of Princess Diana’s favourite places to stay.
William will meet with Barack Obama in Washington DC on Monday to attend a conference where he is expected to deliver a speech about combatting illegal wildlife trafficking, an issue that is close to the prince’s heart.
Security will be extremely tight with recent protests taking place in New York following the failure of a grand jury to indict a police officer after the death of a man from Staten Island.
William and Kate are travelling without their 16-month-old son, Prince George.
