Printer technician charged after allegedly hiding GoPro in office toilet

A printer technician has been charged after he allegedly hid a GoPro camera in an office toilet cubicle in Sydney.

The 61-year-old man was called into the Picton office just before 9am yesterday to service one of their printers.

“It’s alleged while he was inside the premises he entered a toilet cubicle where he secreted a GoPro camera and started filming,” NSW police said.

The man then left the business about 11am.

Just 10 minutes later, a female staff member entered the cubicle and upon leaving she noticed the small camera.

The woman alerted other staff members before the company contacted local police.

Following investigations, officers arrested the technician at Narellan Police Station about 4.40pm on Monday.

He was charged with filming a person in a private act (x2) and was granted conditional bail to appear in Picton Local Court on Tuesday 12 February.
