Real estate agent accused of brazen theft during open home

A real estate agent has been charged after she allegedly stole a number of items whilst holding an open house in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

The theft is alleged to have occurred on Saturday 20 October at a home on Pacific Parade at Dee Why.

Police say that during the open house, the occupant noticed that some of his personal items had gone missing.

The incident was reported to police and following investigations, detectives identified a person of interest.

On Tuesday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Bilgola Plateau where they seized a number of items.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested and charged with six counts of dishonestly obtain goods by deception and one count of steal from dwelling.

She was given conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court on 21 November.
