RECALL: Kids toy train pulled from shelves in Kmart

A popular children’s toy train has been recalled from Kmart stores nationwide.

In a recall notice posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website, the company says the wooden vehicle train has been pulled from shelves over choking fears.

“Screws from the train roof may become loose and fall out when the product is dropped,” the notice reads.

“The small screws could become an ingestion and/or choking hazard.”

The wooden trains were available for sale between 16 January  – 10 April 2017.

People have been told to stop using the product immediately and to return it to any Kmart store for a full refund.
