RECALL: Fears popular children’s lollipops may have metal in them

My Little Pony and Avenger Giant Pops are being recalled from Priceline stores around the country over fears they may contain metal.

Park Avenue Foods issued the recall on Monday after discovering the foreign matter.

“Food products containing metal may cause injury if consumed,” the recall notice reads.

According to the Food Standards Australia website, the lollies, which weigh 180g and have a best before date of 1/07/2020, originated from China.

People are being urged not to eat the Giant Pops and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
