UPDATE @ 11.00 AM | A MAN is fighting for his life after a horror crash between a ute and truck in Jimboomba today.
Police say the 49-year-old was driving his ute along Cusack Lane, when his car travelled onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a truck carrying earth moving equipment around 7.10am.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and worked for more than an hour to free the man who was trapped in his vehicle.

With the assistance of Queensland Fire and Rescue, the driver was freed and rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical head, limb and internal injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 37-year-old man from Tamborine, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Logan Hospital as a precaution.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
EARLIER @ 10.00 AM | A MAN has been rescued from the wreckage of his ute and rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a serious crash in Jimboomba.
The accident happened around 7.15am, when a truck and ute collided on Cusack Lane.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and worked for more than an hour to free a man who was trapped in his vehicle.
With the assistance of Queensland Fire and Rescue, the driver was freed and taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a critical care paramedic on board.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the man had multiple injuries and was in a critical condition.

The male driver of the truck was taken in a stable condition to Logan Hospital with minor injuries.
Cusack Lane remains closed with motorists urged to avoid the area.
