THE worst kept secret has been confirmed, with Rodney Eade finally revealing that he will lead the Suns into battle in 2015.
The 56-year-old will take up the new role from November 17, meaning he will leave behind his job as Collingwood’s Football Boss.
Eade told the Herald Sun that “what came through very strongly when I was interviewed was how well the club has been set up with its culture and talent.

“It’s an exciting place to be associated with.”
“I still had a coaching flame inside me and while it may have been dormant, this lit the embers and now it’s a roaring fire. It was just too good to knock back.”
It comes after former mentor Guy McKenna was sacked by the Gold Coast AFL side, after a string of losses.
