There will also be a Schools Challenge, where schools can battle it out to score a share in $2000 worth of sports equipment.

Participants are encouraged to dress up on the night – it is new year’s eve after all – and every runner will get to devour an all-you-can-eat dinner post race!

It’s not all about running on the night though, with a free Community Carnival set to take place offering live music, an open air family movie, jumping castles and face painting, giant games, fireworks and more.
