Santa to arrive on the Gold Coast this weekend

He’s been making his list and checking it twice, and now the world’s favourite jolly, white-bearded man is bound for the Gold Coast.

Santa will be leaving the snow-covered North Pole and arriving at the Coast’s biggest shopping centres from tomorrow to spread Christmas cheer to local boys and girls.

We chatted with Santa’s number 1 elf to find out his arrival plans and where can you see him.

PACIFIC FAIR
10:00am on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November
Santa will take part in a grand arrival parade around the centre following The Grinch Stage Show. For the best viewing, head to the resort area.

WESTFIELD COOMERA
9:00am on Saturday 10th November
Santa will arrive via helicopter behind The Backyard, followed by a parade through centre with 100+ entertainers and local community groups and children.

WESTFIELD HELENSVALE
9:00am on Saturday 10th November
Santa will arrive on a Harley Davidson with Mrs Claus and over 100 entertainers, local community groups and children including dancing elves, magicians and a confetti cannon.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it to see Santa this coming weekend – he will be arriving at a number of other spots around town from next week:

TWEED CITY
6:00pm on Thursday 15th November
There is a forecast for snow on Thursday 15 November, with Santa expected to fly in to the cove during the evening.

THE PINES ELANORA
10:30am on Saturday 17th November
Santa will be joining his friend’s Shimmer & Shine, Blinky Bill, Elf on the Shelf as well as hip hop dancing elves for a festive arrival parade.

STOCKLAND BURLEIGH HEADS
10am on Saturday 24th November
Help us give Santa a big ‘Burleigh’ welcome with a Sing-a-long Christmas show and parade through the Centre.

CAPRI ON VIA ROMA
9am on Saturday 8th December
Santa will arrive by boat! Plus there will be free face painting, balloon animals, and helium balloons, animal farm, special Christmas entertainers and more.
