Have your say on the hottest fashion trends of 2016

As good old Australia day draws closer, music lovers across the country are waiting to see who will take out Triple J’s annual Hottest 100.

With voting for the music countdown already closed,  Gold Coast based online fashion retailer, Princess Polly, is calling upon girls to have a say in the next biggest election of the year…the HOTTEST TREND OF 2016.

Up for the top spot is off the shoulder dresses, liquid lipstick, bomber jackets, OTT glitter, and everything in between.

Princess Polly’s Head Stylist Lucy Jackson says that it’s been a massive year for trend revivals with plenty of ‘80s and ‘90s references, including slip dresses, mom jeans and chokers. “It Girls like Kendall Jenner really brought back some of our favourite old school looks and made them must-have pieces. The second Kendall wore a slip dress, we sold out of slip dresses overnight.

“2016 saw some winners, as well as some one hit wonders, which is why we’re calling our Princess Polly gals to decide and cast their vote via our website to get behind their fave looks,” said Lucy.

“Plus, every voter will go into the draw to win a massive $1000 Princess Polly wardrobe – and get a sneaky discount off their next purchase.”

On the morning of Australia Day, voters will then be able to tune into Princess Polly’s Snapchat (@PrincessPollyAU) for the live countdown before the major announcement of what trend took out the coveted number one spot as Hottest Trend of the Year.

So whether you’re a mom jean fanatic, vintage tee bad-ass or still rockin’ hoops like JLO, relive the highlights of 2016, have your say and cast your all-important vote at Princess Polly’s website here: www.princesspolly.com/
