NINE months after an horrific skiing injury, former Formula One champion Michael Schumacher has left hospital.
While his manager Sabine Kehm says he is making progress, she admits he still has a long way to go in his recovery.
“Henceforth, Michael’s rehabilitation will take place at his home,” Ms Kehm said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Considering the severe injuries he suffered, progress has been made in the past weeks and months.”
“We ask that the privacy of Michael’s family continue to be respected, and that speculations about his state of health are avoided,”it said.
Schumacher had undergone two operations in an attempt to remove blood clots from his brain, before he was put into a medically induced coma to reduce swelling.
Investigators are still looking into the accident.
