Alleged serial sex offender caught in Queensland’s north

A man accused of breaking into homes and filming himself molesting sleeping children has been arrested in Hervey Bay.

Police will alleged the 30-year-old man crept into the homes of children and abused them while they slept.

The children and their parents were unaware of what happened until they were contacted by police.

Queensland Police and Detectives are still examining the man’s videos and other computer files found at his home, in Hervey Bay, and believe there might be other victims.

It’s understood police had difficulty identifying the children who were abused,  with one of the man’s four alleged victims not yet identified.

He’s been charged with 11 counts of indecent treatment of a child, three counts of making child explotation material, six counts of burglary, two counts of wilful damage and one count of rape.
