Servo attendant escapes hold-up unscathed

DETECTIVES are hunting a man who held-up a service station at knifepoint north of Brisbane early this morning.

Police said the man burst into the Lower King Street servo at Caboolture armed with a knife around 3am.

The offender stormed up to the counter and threatened a male staff member into handing over a sum of cash, police said.


After getting what he came for, the man fled the scene.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

The suspect remains at large and is described as being Aboriginal in appearance and 180cm tall with a solid build and black hair.
