Seven people escape raging house fire in NSW

SEVEN people have managed to escape a ferocious house fire in Epping early this morning.

The blaze broke out at the home on Midson Road just after 1.15am, with fire crews rushing to the scene.

Upon arrival, firies found the house well alight.


Crews worked to extinguish the flames, however sadly, the home was completely destroyed.

A number of surrounding properties were evacuated as a precaution, however they have since returned home.

Seven people managed to escape the fire without serious injury, with one man taken to hospital for treatment of a small laceration.

A crime scene has since been established with an investigation into the cause of the fire underway.
