Some Gold Coast roads still affected by flooding

UPDATE @ 2.30 PM | Several roads across the Gold Coast have reopened this afternoon following yesterday’s massive downpour.

Thanks to the sunshine this morning, localised flooding has eased across the city.

The following roads are those that are still impacted by flooding:


Heslop Road, Gaven

Crescent Avenue, Hope Island

Heritage Drive, Clagiraba

Stapylton Jacobs Well Road, Alberton

Tallebudgera Creek Road, Tallebudgera Valley

Henry Hester Drive, Yatala

Birds Road, Guanaba

Hardys Road, Mudgeeraba

Waterford Tamborine Road, Logan Village

Beaudesert Nerang Road, Canungra

Mudgeeraba Road, Mudgeeraba, outside Waste and Recycling Center

EARLIER @ 8.00 AM | A number of Gold Coast roads are still affected by the floods this morning, and will have to stay closed.

Many roads were inundated with flood waters, due to the heavy rain.

It hasn’t totally cleared this morning though, despite the rain backing off slightly.

As of late last night, the following roads were still impacted:

Tallebudgera – DUCATS ROAD, Tallebudgera Creek Road, Araluen Road

Mudgeeraba – Mudgeeraba Road, Hardys Road

Yatala – Sandy Creek Road, Henry Hester Drive, Stanmore Road

Mount Nathan – Clagiraba Road, Heritage Drive

Helensvale – Siganto Drive

Willow Vale – Hotham Creek Road

Maudsland – Birds Road

Gilberton – Burnside Road

Currumbin Valley – Currumbin Creek Road

Alberton – Stapylton Jacobs Well Road
